The Tombo Folk Blues available now is not the same as it once was. The original had a plastic comb. The new model has a wood comb and more of a “sandwich” construction. The reed plates are not recessed in the same way that they used to be. Although the construction is a little different, the new Tombo Folk Blues is still a high-quality harp. It has reenforced cover plates, making it more resistant to damage from being sat upon or dropped. It also produces a nice, loud sound. It’s meant for anyone that likes to blast out some R & B or Rock music.
PROS
Great for blasting louder blues music
CONS
Not as good for playing ballads, folk, or softer tunes
