The Tombo Aero Reed Diatonic is unusual because it features a metal comb. Many other diatonics feature plastic or wood combs. It has a bright, shiny appearance, but appearance is about all that this harp has going for it. It does have a sweet sound, but it has almost no volume. You have to use all of your wind to get anything near a decent volume out of it. So, while it’s okay to practice on, it’s not a good harmonica for playing gigs at all. For the price, it’s probably better to find another diatonic with a bit more volume.
PROS
Unique metal comb, as opposed to plastic or wood
Nice appearance
CONS
Takes a lot of breath to play notes
Very little volume makes it horrible for anything other than beginner practice
