The Hohner Super Chromonica 48/270 is one of Hohner’s most popular models. Many professional musicians have been playing it during their concerts for decades. Teachers also recommend it for those who are trying to learn serious chromatic harmonica play techniques. It features nice brass reed plates, but they are attached with nails, not screws. So, adjustments are not as easily done on this model as they are on screw-assembly harmonicas. Nevertheless, the Super Chromonica has a great tone and a fabulous reputation, with a few small exceptions. One is that some people say that the windsavers tend to fail after a while. Even so, this harmonica is a great investment.
PROS
