The Hohner Silver Concerto is the top harmonica of the Hohner line, at least for classical musicians. The body and cover are both made out of sterling silver, giving this harmonica a truly striking appearance. It also has reed plates that are extra thick, which give it a fuller tone. The latest version of it also has a 3-piece mouthpiece and a brand new type of slide. Although this is a fabulous harmonica, it is quite expensive, mostly due to the silver used to create the body of the harp. There are less expensive harmonicas, such as the 270, that produce a great sound for a fraction of the price.
PROS
Excellent construction
Great sound
Beautiful appearance
CONS
Similar sound quality can be achieved with some much cheaper harmonicas
