The Hohner Marine Band 364 is a quality instrument, just like the Marine Band 1896. However, the 1896 only has 20 reeds. The 364 has 24 reeds, giving it a better note range. The 364, like many other Hohner models, has stainless steel covers and brass reed plates. It also has a wood comb. Unlike the 1896, the 364 is easy to take apart and adjust. However, it’s also a little less sturdy. Since it has 12 holes instead of 10, it’s a little different to hold, as well. It takes some getting used to, but the tone is excellent for solo acts.
PROS
Easy to adjust reeds
Nice note range
CONS
Not as sturdy as the Marine Band 1896
