The Hohner Chromatica is also known as the 270 Super. Hohner has been making them for years, and with good reason. They are one of the most popular Hohner models, and they are within a reasonable price range for medium-level harp players. It has a pearwood comb and brass reeds, along with nickel plated brass covers. Although Hohner markets it as having an orchestral sound, it really doesn’t have the most consistent tone. Then again, it isn’t really designed for or marketed to professionals. However, medium-level players who want a good chromatic to jam with tend to agree that it’s a good value for the money.
PROS
Orchestral sound
CONS
