The Hering Signature Rod Piazza bares the mark of one of the most famous harmonica players ever, but that isn’t the only thing that makes it special. As is the case with many Hering models, the Rod Piazza has bronze reeds, reed plates, and covers. It is built with rounded edges and without the rough patches that can make other harmonicas difficult to play comfortably. This particular harmonica’s tuning runs a little on the sharp side, but the tone is still full and enjoyable. It is available in the key of C, as well as A, D, and G, which make it a good choice for serious blues players.
PROS
Good value for the money
Rounded edges for comfort
CONS
Tuning runs a little sharp
