PT Gazell, from Wisconsin, was a master diatonic player. He was the first harmonica player, and the second artist, to be honored with a recording contract with famed Sugar Hill Records. Then he discovered the half-valved harmonicas and took the music scene by storm, playing jazz and swing à la Benny Goodman.
