Norton Buffalo (born Phillip Jackson in California, September 28, 1951 – October 30, 2009) is best known as a member of the Steve Miller Band. A rock, blues-rock, psychedelic rock, and blues harmonica player, he has also played with the likes of the Doobie Brothers, Huey Lewis, and George Thorogood. His use of four harmonicas in Bonnie Raitt’s version of “Runaway” put him on the radar.
