Why Peter “Madcat” Ruth?
Peter “Madcat” Ruth is a virtuoso harp player and performer out of Illinois, who is equally at home playing blues, jazz, folk, country, and rock and roll. He studied with Big Walter Horton and toured with Dave Brubeck. He went solo in the ’80s, and in the ’90s he teamed up with Shari Kane as a duo. He currently tours with Brazilian Big Joe Manfra. Great entertainer. Technically tight. A music master.
