Paul Jones (born in England February 24, 1942) turned down a gig as lead singer for Keith Richards and Brian Jones and went on to sing and play with Manfred Mann, scoring several top 10 hits before he went solo. An actor and TV host, he still plays the harmonica and was awarded Harmonica Player of the Year by the British Blues Awards in 2011.
