Why Kim Wilson?
Kim Wilson (born January 6, 1951 in Michigan) is the enduring leader of the Fabulous Thunderbirds, a Texas blues/rock band. A powerful player akin to an entire horn section, Kim maintains an extensive touring schedule complete with numerous workshops. He is a master at chordal vamping (holding the chord while playing the melody) around the bends, blow bends, chords, and tongue-blocked octaves.
