Why Billy Branch?
Billy Branch (born William Earl Branch in Illinois, October 3, 1951): After graduating from the University of Illinois, Billy’s first gig was touring with the Chicago Blues All-Stars, led by Willie Dixon. Since then he has played on over 150 albums and been nominated for and won several awards. He still appears annually at major festivals around the world, playing the finest blues around, in between, and on top!
