Big Walter “Shakey” Horton (born in Mississippi, April 6, 1921 – December 8, 1981) was one of the premier blues players of all time. He was one of the first to record for Sam Phillips of Sun Records. He played at blues and folk festivals in Europe and across the U.S. and appeared as a guest player with rock singers such as Fleetwood Mac and Johnny Winter. True blues.
