Junior Wells (born Amos Wells Blakemore Jr., December 9, 1934 – January 15, 1998) was a Chicago blues singer/ harp player best known for his associations with Muddy Waters, Earl Hooper, and Buddy Guy. He admitted to stealing his first harmonica when he was seven and was famous for his onstage antics and strutting across the stage like a gangster.
